Britain's leading Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to benefit again from Visual with all its 130 employees enjoying an in-house exhibition and full access to the online gallery and associated benefits.

Birmingham and Solihull Chamber of Commerce is the oldest in the country being founded 225 years ago and, with approaching 3,500 members, is one of the largest Chambers in Europe.  It is the most significant business membership organisation in the Midlands.

Arts & Business has been working with Birmingham Chamber for many years and this is the third time they have committed to bringing the best in contemporary visual art from the region to their offices in central Birmingham.

Anderson - Little Barbarian 1The in-house exhibition will be selected by Chamber staff with the expert help of Visual's project manager.  It will be installed in the Autumn and users of visualforbusiness.com will be able to see the full exhibition online.

The Chamber is also benefiting from the Visual art loan service allowing staff to browse the Visual artworks and choose a piece for their office. Jane Anderson is first artist to be chosen by staff and exhibit her work at the Chamber this year.  The chosen piece is shown to the left and more examples of Jane's work are here.

Jerry Blackett, CEO of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, “Releasing and encouraging the creativity in our people lies at the heart of gaining competitive advantage in today’s business world.   So do take some time out to have a look round the online Gallery - you might see something that not only inspires you but also could be just right for the living room or the office!”

Gavin Buckley of Arts & Business commented, "Working with one of Europe's largest and most established Chamber's of Commerce is a great privilege.  We are delighted to see Visual go from strength to strength and our partnership with the Chamber further demonstrates the tremendous value that the arts can bring to business, employees and the creative economy."
